Tech & Learning’s Regional Leadership Summits drew hundreds of innovative district administrators from across the country last year. Based on the positive feedback we received for this event, we have launched a new series for the 2024 school year.

Tech & Learning’s Regional Leadership Summits bring together district leaders in a relaxed setting where attendees can talk candidly about how to develop effective district strategic plans. Each free-to-attend summit focuses on the unique needs of the region to give attendees the valuable insight they need to develop action plans. Tech & Learning also covers a two-night hotel stay for qualified attendees.

February 23, 2024: DELAWARE/MARYLAND/VIRGINIA, Maritime Conference Centre, MD.

May 3, 2024: NEW ENGLAND
The New England Summit takes place at the relaxing, beautiful Connors Center outside Boston. Topics will be determined by the attendees in a pre-con survey, including life after ESSER, addressing the teacher shortage, rethinking PD, and more. Find more information and link to register here.
June 22, 2024: DENVER
Taking place at the Denver Zoo the day before the ISTE Summit, the T&L Denver Summit will be a mix of fun and learning as we reflect on the 2024-25 school year and discuss the future of education. Find more information and link to register here.
September 20, 2024: TEXAS
At the TCEA Conference Center, attendees will discuss Texas policy changes and how it impacts the classroom and the state of technology in education. Networking will result in district leaders being able to exchange information on how to adjust to a changing landscape. Find more information and link to register here.
October 18, 2024: NORTHEAST
The Northeast Summit opens with a fun networking dinner, followed the next day for a full day at Rutgers University’s brand new science building. The event will focus on the most crucial topics facing the region’s tech directors. Session topics will be determined by the attendees via a pre-con survey. November 8, 2024: MIDWEST, Naperville Conference Center

December 6, 2024: INNOVATION SUMMIT
The third annual Innovation Summit is an invite-only event that brings together our growing community of innovators to share ideas, best practices, and solutions to help to reshape and reimagine the future of education. Each Tech & Learning Regional Leadership Summit follows an agenda that maximizes the opportunity for learning and networking with colleagues. Below is a sample working agenda:

Edtech luminary and international keynote speaker Carl Hooker brings his enthusiasm and passion for education to the Summit as our host and MC for the day.
10:00-11:30 Problem-Solving Table Discussions or Partner Meetings
During this breakout, attendees either participate in a problem-solving table discussion or meet with industry partners. Table discussions will include: navigating generative AI, sustaining tech programs after ESSER, rethinking PD, data privacy & security, data governance, managing the teacher & administrator shortage, and more.
11:30-12:00 Session on Topic Selected by our Attendees & Partners
12:00-1:00 Lunch & Meet the Partners
1:00-1:30 Session on Topic Selected by our Attendees & Partners

Carl Hooker leads a closing activity in which attendees can reflect on what they learned throughout the day, and discuss specific actions they can take back to their districts.

INNOVATIVE LEADER AWARDS
As part of our Regional Live Summits, Tech & Learning will recognize exceptional district administrators in select regions around the country who are leading innovation in their schools with our Tech & Learning Innovative Leader Awards. We’re seeking district leaders who are reimagining and reinventing education by developing and launching unique and forward-thinking programs, policies, and best practices that have shown to have a positive impact and are also replicable at other districts.
All finalists will receive an invitation to the Tech & Learning Regional Summit in their region, including a two-night hotel stay at the event. The winners will be announced at the closing session of the summit. All finalists will be profiled in an issue of Tech & Learning and will receive a Tech & Learning Innovative Leader Award Seal that can be added to all district websites, etc.
